I wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update on the recent brownouts and blackouts that have been impacting our community.
On November 23rd, I notified Oakville Hydro after reports from community members on social media highlighted the widespread and frequent outages. In response, Oakville Hydro promptly launched an investigation involving ground crews and their control room to identify and address the underlying issues.
As of now, the investigation has identified what they believe to be the cause of the momentary interruptions. Repairs are currently being scheduled, and they plan to monitor the area after completing the repairs to ensure that the issue is adequately addressed.
